The construction of Suffolk County National Bank's new 47,890 sq. ft. headquarters in Riverhead was completed within 12 months. The main design element for this three-story plus basement building is the curtain wall system that dominates the four exterior elevations. Increasing the difficulty in construction was the basement addition of a kitchen to the project by the Owner after the construction of the building shell was completed. Interior construction included two passenger elevators, one freight elevator, and a loading dock. The parking lot construction included stamped and colored concrete pavements for pedestrian traffic.
