SEA STAR GRAND BALLROOM

Part of the Long Island Aquarium and Exhibition Center in Riverhead, NY, the Sea Star Grand Ballroom and Long Island Exhibition Center is a general construction project of a new 28,500 sq. ft. Banquet Facility and Exhibition Center. The exhibition space is 4,600 square feet with is first exhibit 'Butterflies & Birds!' which opened to the public in July 2011. The Grand Ballroom, with a full catering kitchen, has a 325-seat capacity for weddings and a 630-seat capacity for conferences. The facility is flanked on the east by the newly constructed Hyatt Place East End Hotel and to the west by Long Island Aquarium and Exhibition Center. Construction of the facility was completed in under 12 months, successfully hosting its first wedding reception in August 2011.
