SUFFOLK COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE LIFE SCIENCES BUILDING

This general construction project of a new 64,000 sq. ft. three-story life science building began on the Ammerman Campus of Suffolk County Community College in November 2012 and was completed in the Spring of 2014. The building consists of a structural steel superstructure and external cavity wall construction. The facade consists of brick, aluminum panels, and curtain wall construction. Now complete, the project has achieved LEED gold certification.
