LONG ISLAND DUCKS STADIUM

Construction on the Long Island Ducks Stadium in Islip, New York, was done in two phases, to which J. Petrocelli Contracting was the construction manager and constructor for both phases. As stated by Mr. Bartha, Commissioner of Suffolk Country Department of Public Works (the agency in charge of the project), "Opening day would not have been achieved without J. Petrocelli Contracting, Inc." The ballpark was completed one year from groundbreaking to the first pitch on opening day. This fast-track schedule was developed and met by J. Petrocelli Contracting, Inc. The construction of this ballpark included seating for 6,000 along with 20 skyboxes, complete locker room and maintenance facilities, cafeterias, and batting cages.
