RAPHAEL VINEYARD & WINERY

Located on the North Fork of Long Island this general construction project consisted of complete site development and construction of a 30,000 sq. ft. facility modeled after the Italian monasteries of Tuscany. The construction project consisted of building the winery 12 feet underground to allow for the energy-efficient building to use the earth’s natural 55F temperature to cool the winery. Also the project included Spanish tile roof and stucco finish along with heavy timber construction, installing chillers and refrigeration equipment for wine storage, stainless steel tanks, a barrel room made from French oak, and the development of a complete 70-acre vineyard.
